Depict Clip I

Title: Don't Feed The Ducks
By: Tom Edmondson
Source: DepicT

This is a animation about a lad feeding the ducks, it sounds very straight forward but it has a plot twist to it. i don't know what is actually happening but it looks like the duck is controlling the human. what catches my eye about this clip is that it goes to an extreme of having war against one duck.
i see this clip as comedy which is one of my favourite genres of film. in opinion, comedy catches everyones eye. the war clip was over thought of as the creator decided to put a duck with laser eyes (reminds me of War Of The Worlds) and a duck bombing the whole world. the thing i dislike about this 90 second clip is that it is very difficult to say whats going on, for example, why did the duck attack the human. another reason is because it goes to one extreme to the other, starting as a peaceful environment which looks completely non-fictional to a war zone with a duck shooting lasers out of his eyes, with guns and missiles and about one duck taking over the world all over to some lad not feeding him. the clip itself is very appealing and is dedicated toward a huge variety of audiences.

Title: Salt
By: Stanislav Gusev

This is about a woman who is cooking her husband supper and she accidnentally poured too much salt into the mixture. she has to serve it to his husband and she thinks that he's gonna spit it out but he actually likes it. the moral of this story that everyone isn't salty and its all about the effort that counts. what i like about this is that its very straight forward and the use of camera shots is done very well. what i don't like about this is that at the start, it doesn't have much disruption or physical representation on what the plot is.

Title: Tape
By: Freya Walker Smith
Source: Depict

this clip is about a old man putting together a tape. the use of the camera shot looks very straight forward which i like about it. there are not much transitions used in this clip but what matters in this clip is that the duration of each clip. i recognised the further in the clip you go, the faster the clips get in duration wise NOT speed wise. which represents that he could be in a rush or he is on a time limit. the thing i don't like about this clip is its just a man assembling a tape, it is not showing any representation. this is not "How its Made" as known as a documentary which show how stuff is made.  personally this doesn't catch my eye.
